How it started
"Mummy, can we make our own lip balms?"
Yana asked that from a hospital bed while recovering from a serious illness. She and her mum Aarti read up on natural ingredients, and at five years old she made her first vegan balm - Plain Jane. Her lips healed, and one balm turned into a range.
Yana is eleven now and still signs off every flavour. Everything is mixed, poured and labelled by hand by the two of them - natural, waterless where we can, never tested on animals.
