Yani Beauty wins Prestige Award 2025 for Natural Skincare in the Midlands

What the Prestige Award means

The Prestige Awards celebrate small and medium-sized businesses that combine quality with genuine customer care. Winning Natural Skincare in the Midlands is not about having the biggest marketing budget; it is about being recognised by judges for the product, the story and the way customers are looked after.

For Yani Beauty, the trophy is proof that a kitchen-table start can sit next to bigger brands and still stand out. Every tin and bottle is mixed, poured and labelled by hand in Leicester. The award validates what our customers have been telling us since the first batch: simple ingredients, honestly listed, work.

From hospital bed to award stage

Yana was five when a hospital stay left her lips cracked and bleeding. Nothing on the shelf was gentle enough, so she asked her mum Aarti whether they could make their own. They researched natural ingredients, mixed their first balm - Plain Jane - and it worked.

That one tin became Yani Beauty. Today the range includes six flavoured lip balms, a Golden Jojoba Cleansing Oil, Glow Serum, Hemp Balm and a Men's Hemp Balm, plus party bag boxes and gift sets. Yana is eleven now and still signs off every flavour.

What the judges saw

Our entry focused on three things: ingredient transparency, handmade quality and a real founder story. Every product page prints the full INCI list, the size in the jar and what each ingredient is doing. There are no 'natural fragrance' loopholes and no miracle claims.

The judges also noted our commitment to keeping production local. We do not buy in bulk and re-badge; we pour, cap and label every order ourselves from a workspace in Leicester. That control is why customers with sensitive lips and reactive skin keep coming back.

What is next

The Prestige Award joins our SHE Awards 2026 Highly Commended for Beauty & Wellness, and it is only the beginning. We are expanding the party bag range, adding more educational content about ingredients, and continuing to tell Yana's story so other young founders see what is possible.
